Acting in obedience to do things the Lord wants done may require us to be heroic because others will likely think we are foolish.

We often long for what we don’t have. This can discourage us if we don’t appreciate what we do have.

If we seek to enjoy God’s comfort on our own terms, we will not receive it. How, then, do we receive the Lord’s comfort?

Some risks are worth taking while others are not. How do we know when to take a risk?

Guilt can be false. We must evaluate claims that we are guilty to make sure we really are.

If we only look at one or a few verses on a biblical topic, we are likely to miss the exceptions. The whole teaching of the Bible on each topic must be considered.
